CUSTOMER CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY

 

Glosserman Chevrolet-Buick-Pontiac, Inc. strives to protect the privacy of its customers to the greatest possible extent.  To that end, we provide the following guidelines regarding the confidentiality of our customers.

 

  1. Any information concerning customers will be maintained in separate, confidential customer files apart from all other records.  Only authorized employees may ever have access to such files.

 

  1. Employees are hereby notified that information concerning customers is absolutely confidential and may not be discussed at any time with any person under any circumstances, unless the employee needs to do so in order to carry out his or her job duties, or unless the person discussing the information is talking with the customer at the customer’s invitation.

 

  1. Any employee who is found to have discussed customer information with anyone else in violation of this policy, or who is found to have released such information without authorization, will be subject to severe disciplinary action, up to and possibly including immediate termination from employment.  In addition, state and federal laws may subject such an employee to both civil and criminal action in a court of law.

This is a GM-sponsored site, and GM will have access to your name and other personal information you enter here. GM dealers and third parties will also have access to personal information you enter here and your browsing activities on this page in order to provide you the dealer locator services you are requesting. Collection and Use of Your Information by GM

When you complete a form on this website to ask a question of or request a quote from a GM dealer, the information you submit is forwarded by GM to the GM dealer you selected. Each GM dealer is independent of GM and the dealer you direct your communication to will have its own privacy statement.
